Little "I" Livestock Show

Each year, students enrolled in the Introduction to Animal Science course are tasked with training a species of animal residing in the UConn barns over several weeks during the fall semester. This unique opportunity enables students to gain hands-on experience socializing, training and handling a variety of livestock animals on campus as they prepare for the long-standing, annual Livestock Show hosted by the UConn Block and Bridle Club and Department of Animal Science.

The 94th Little International Livestock, Horse and Poultry Show took place on Saturday, October 21st at various barn locations along Horsebarn Hill Road. The show featured 165 students enrolled in the Introduction to Animal Science class.
