Agustín Curutchet is a second-year Plan A Master’s student in Dr. Breno Fragomeni’s lab studying animal breeding and genomics. His primary research focuses on assessing the accuracy of genomic selection in the Argentine Angus population. Currently, his thesis focuses on evaluating alternative approaches for collecting data as a part of the annual Argentine National Report on Beef Cattle Production. The outcomes of his research will contribute in the improvement of beef production through objective selection.
