Gopi Yalavarthi is a MS student in Dr. Jenifer Nadeau’s lab with an extensive background working with horses. He is currently working on the influence of gut microbiome on parasitic load and blood analytes in horses. Aside from research, Gopi is an horse enthusiast and avid equestrian, having achieved high marks in national-level horse riding competitions across his home country, India.
