Sarah Reed

Dr. Reed earned her B.S. in Equine Science from Delaware Valley College in 2003. She completed her M.S. in Animal Science and Ph.D. in Animal Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Florida. Dr. Reed pursued post-doctoral training in muscle biology in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Florida and joined the faculty of the Department of Animal Science at UConn in 2011. Dr. Reed is the Editor in Chief of Animal Frontiers, the official journal of the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS), the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP), the American Meat Science Association (AMSA), and the World Association for Animal Production (WAAP).
