Dear UConn Animal Science Family,

Thank you for putting your paws forward to support our department during this year’s UConn Gives. The generosity shown by you and many others will help ensure that our programs, faculty, staff and students continue to meet the tripartite missions of teaching, research, and service to animal agriculture.

Together, we raised over $50,000 from more than 350 unique donors, placing 1st amongst all CAHNR departments and programs in number of dollars raised and 2nd in total number of unique donors – all in just 36 hours!

Special thanks are due to both the Bessette Family and Ruthann Pritchard, whose generous contributions to the Creamery Equipment Initiative and the Samantha Calzone Scholarship Initiative respectively, played a huge role in making this year’s UConn Gives our best one yet!
