About

Ana is in her last year of a Master’s degree program. As a graduate of Veterinary Medicine in Brazil, she is also a specialist in animal product processing and quality control with a focus on conservation. Ana’s career includes working in quality control at a French supermarket chain, at a fish company as a technical manager and quality control coordinator, and lecturing at a veterinary school on small animal clinics and animal physiology. Ana’s research interests include food microbiology and food safety, focusing on mitigating the food safety risks associated with fresh produce. Besides research, Ana enjoys CrossFit, nature, and travel.
