About
Dr. Schondelmeyer earned a BS in small animal science from Delaware Valley University. He later received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus and completed a post-doctoral program and residency emphasizing laboratory animal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and Yerkes National Primate Center. Dr. Schondelmeyer began his career in 2006 as a clinical veterinarian with Harvard Medical School. He later spent more than 7 years at Toxikon Corporation (now LabCorp Bedford) in Bedford, Massachusetts, as Director of Veterinary Services and Efficacy and Surgical Research Services, as well as attending veterinarian. At Biogen he oversaw clinical veterinary care and the technical and surgical execution of preclinical research studies in neurodegenerative diseases.
