Eswari Kanike is an MS student in Dr. Mary Anne Amalaradjou’s lab. She completed her bachelor’s in veterinary science and animal Husbandry from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, India. Her primary research work focuses on controlling Listeria monocytogenes on alfalfa seeds using nanobubble technology during storage and sprouting periods. Eswari’s research is crucial for public health, aiming to reduce the incidence of foodborne illnesses and enhance the safety of fresh produce. Through her work, she strives to prevent foodborne outbreaks and ensure consumer protection.
