Nicole Tillquist is a PhD student in Dr. Kristen Govoni’s lab. Her dissertation research involves investigating the multigenerational effects of poor maternal nutrition on offspring growth, development, and metabolism in a sheep model. Her research interests include ruminant nutrition and metabolism and she hopes to understand growth and development on a tissue-specific and cellular level to improve animal health and efficiency of livestock production.
