UConn offers both bachelors and associate of science degrees with a focus on Equine Science. The program is flexible, customized to personal goals, and provides the opportunity to gain hands-on learning at barns right on campus.

Undergraduate Programs
With stables right on campus, UConn’s Equine Program offers a unique, hands-on learning experience for undergraduate students interested in equine science. Learn the basic sciences of genetics, physiology, nutrition, health, and behavior alongside dedicated faculty advisors to fulfill your professional goals.
With so much hands-on learning, I was able to gain a better understanding of equine studies. I am so proud to be a part of the animal science family and happy I was able to have the college experience I wanted.
